Great article — pretty funny, but far too close to the truth. Hopefully Canadians will get involved in this and write to their politicians. We need to stand up and be counted, otherwise Canada implementing the worst of US copyright law (while still not adopting the good aspects) will be a done deal.

At digital-copyright.ca we have sample letters (another one in the works), two petitions being tabled in parliament, and a BLOG and mailing list focused on these discussions.

With great distinction (for being uncorrupt) comes great responsibility. The Dippers should be throwing themselves into these issues like kamikaze pilots. Eventually, people will respect them for it.

Hey, ley off the Dippers. They’re the only ones actually working on the hill at the moment. The Tories and the Liberals definitely do not distinguish themselves in any significant way on this issue.
