Cubits WikiComic by in 1889 / August 30th, 2006
Building MakeCubit is taking a lot more work than I first thought (feature creep!) so I’ve decided to take a slight detour and make this sucker. I call it a WikiComic, but really it’s not that wiki-ish. The wiki elements would be enhanced in the next iteration. The general idea is that you can look at anyone’s version, make changes to the speech bubbles, and then save it for yourself. There’s a function to let you embed your own special version which I may activate today if I can manage to embed the SWF in this page.
The characters here are named now: Patty and Neelo. I’ve got a few more Cubits worked out, but that’ll have to wait till next time. Oh, and this WikiComic is actually a prototype for by bigger goal… a WikiMovie, where you can use simple drag-and-drop actions to build a movie starring Cubits. But first things first…
